Direct Access is delighted to be exhibiting at the London Build Expo, which takes place from the 15-16 November at Olympia, London. Attracting thousands of attendees from across the design and construction sector, it is the UK’s largest expo of its kind.

Our founder Steven Mifsud MBE will be one of the event’s guest speakers, championing the importance of embedding accessibility and inclusion throughout the design and construction of our future built environments.

But that’s not all – Direct Access will also facilitate BSL sign language interpreters for the event, ensuring access to the event for architects, speakers, and attendees with hearing impairments.

London Build is one of multiple construction expositions under the “Build” banner, with several other events taking place at various points in the calendar in New York, Chicago, and Sydney. Recipient of an AEO Excellence Award in 2023 for Best UK Tradeshow (2001 SQM – 4000 SQM), the British event currently attracts over 30,000 attendees, 500+ top-level speakers, and 350 exhibitors.

In addition, the Expo has a reputation for being both a great networking hub within the construction industry and a fun weekend, hosting networking parties and offering live music and entertainment for attendees.

The Direct Access team cannot wait to take part in this momentous event and expect that Steven’s talk will involve discussing ethical and sustainable architecture within the construction industry.

“Our goal is to make an impact on the approaches made by construction companies to marry utility with sustainability, viability with accessibility, and to speak on behalf of the disabled people that the built environment can and should serve”, Steven said.

You will be able to come and meet the Direct Access team at stand L8. For further information about what you can expect from our stand, our London Build profile can be found here:
