Example Project: Historic England
One of our notable projects was conducted in collaboration with Historic England. This research aimed to report on the current status of disabled people in heritage – across jobs and careers, volunteering, participation and visiting. Through a combination of surveys, interviews, and focus groups, we identified key challenges and provided actionable recommendations to enhance accessibility and inclusion.
Existing data on disability access and inclusion within the heritage sector has been patchy and where it does exist, it demonstrates that the levels of representation do not match the known national demographics.
