About Us > Lee Wilson
Lee joined Direct Access as a part of our fast-expanding Accessible Media department, assisting in the design and manufacturing of our products; including 3D printed models and Tactile Map Boards, as a CAD Engineer.
Prior to joining the team, Lee’s PIC project (a smart plug designed to expand the smart home infrastructure) was exhibited at new designers London and went on to be presented by the Grand Design television series at the NEC Birmingham and London, as part of the Green Heroes.
As a product designer, Lee believes that everything should be accessible and easy to use regardless of personal ability, and that the best designs are intuitive and a dialogue between people, making him a perfect fit for our team.
Lee is a graduate of Manchester Metropolitan University.
