Induction Loop

Crafted to fit all reception and service desks, the Direct Access Counter Loop has been specifically designed to reduce background noise making it easier for people with hearing aids to partake in conversation.

In the UK, induction loops are a requirement in public-facing environments under the Equality Act 2010. Under other legislation, the requirement also extends to the majority of European countries. By providing compliant hearing loops, organisations are able to generate inclusion for deaf staff and customers while reducing the risk of legal complaints or issues.

Statistics have demonstrated that disabled consumers are much more likely to trust and respect brands and businesses that recognise, accept, and provide for their differences.

How does the Counter Loop work?

The Direct Access Counter Loop facilitates equal access in built environments, enabling users to hear sounds with greatly reduced or eliminated background noise.

Using the T switch on a hearing aid, it replaces the actual aid microphone with a more sophisticated one in front of a speaker.

With clearer audio, customers are less likely to mishear important details, which leads to smoother transactions, fewer errors, and improved customer satisfaction.

Because hearing loops reduce the need for someone to speak loudly or repeat sensitive information, they allow for more discreet and private conversations.

People with hearing loss often avoid noisy places or struggle during interactions. Counter loops empower them to engage more confidently without needing to ask for special accommodations.

For staff, it empowers them with the ability to assist all customers effectively—including those with hearing loss and improving service quality.
