Accessibility Audits

Our Accessibility and Universal Design Audits helps to identify where your site meets relevant local accessibility regulations or could be improved to be made better for People of Determination, going beyond mere compliance to helping you create accessible environments for all.

Our team of consultants, themselves People of Determination, fully evaluate your premises to check all provisions for disabled access are in place. Using our trained eye and first-hand experience as a team of disabled people, Direct Access offers practical, professional advice on overcoming a wide range of physical, sensory and digital barriers, ensuring your site is accessible to the widest possible range of people.

Referring to world-leading standards of accessibility such as Mowaamah, the Dubai Universal Design Code, and the Mostadam Recommendations, our team goes above and beyond to deliver innovative, inclusive, and industry-leading accessibility audits to help you identify possible site improvements beyond your legal obligation.

Our team of Access Consultants work on a wide variety of projects including pre-construction plan reviews, barrier removal planning, and accessibility surveys for existing builds. Using our bespoke tablet based systems, our consultants can investigate your entire site(s), ensuring parking spaces, ramps, stairs, signage, public spaces, restrooms, and restrooms are all covered.

We have had the pleasure of working with world-famous brands to improve accessibility across their sites and facilities, including Subway, Nandos, Expedia, Burbury, Marriott Hotels, Virgin, and McArthur Glen.

Our clients are diverse ranging from auditing small offices to design reviews for large-scale events including Expo 2020 Dubai in the United Arab Emirates and for Qiddiya City in Saudi Arabia.
