Direct Access is pleased to announce that our founder, Steven Mifsud MBE, will be speaking at the SEA Expo & Summit from Sunday 28th, May to Tuesday 30th, May 2023, at the Riyadh International Convention & Exhibition Centre in Saudi Arabia sharing the stage with representatives of Six Flags Entertainment and SeaWorld.

The Saudi Entertainment and Amusement (SEA) Summit is a major influential platform attended by those responsible for evolving Saudi Arabia into a global powerhouse of entertainment. 

With billions of dollars of planned investment pipelines creating futuristic and sustainable cities, the Kingdom is advancing quickly on its journey as a global tourism destination.

Direct Access were invited to speak on the development of Saudi Arabia’s expansive entertainment sector in relation to growing efforts being made within the Kingdom to ensure accessibility and inclusion within the leisure industry.

Drawing from our experience of working within the Middle East and navigating different accessibility standards unique to each nation, Steven will specifically discuss the goals, challenges, and methods that theme parks and attractions can incorporate to work towards creating truly inclusive spaces.
 
 Previously, Direct Access have partnered with a wide variety of entertainment and attraction venues to create inclusive experiences for people with disabilities – including working with architectural firms on selected Qiddiya projects, Expo 2020 Dubai, COP 28, and SEVEN, more recently in Saudi Arabia.
