reviews identified potential accessibility issues with the proposed refurbishment and delivered solutions to ensure that the work complies with local building regulations.<\/p><p>The Five Cs project area comprises College Court, College Avenue (from King Street to College Street), College Street (from College Avenue to Queen Street), Callender Street and Chichester Street (south side from Victoria Street to Donegall Square East and the north side from Arthur Street to Callender Street).<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section data-particle_enable=\"false\" data-particle-mobile-disabled=\"false\" class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section elementor-element elementor-element-fd56615 elementor-section-boxed elementor-section-height-default elementor-section-height-default\" data-id=\"fd56615\" data-element_type=\"section\" data-e-type=\"section\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-container elementor-column-gap-default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-100 elementor-top-column elementor-element elementor-element-1ffec78\" data-id=\"1ffec78\" data-element_type=\"column\" data-e-type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-bb90a54 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"bb90a54\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Our consultants undertook meetings with local Disability Groups to address potential concerns with disabled people, ensuring that issues and queries between the local community and Belfast City Centre Management were communicated and that any personal requirements of disabled people were accounted for in the redevelopment.\u00a0<\/p><p class=\"\">The Direct Access team also delivered an Access and Inclusion report based on our knowledge and personal experience as a team of disabled people, the views and thoughts of the local population, and best practice recommendations for street design set by local and international access standards.<\/p><p class=\"\">The project aims to create a high quality, sustainable public realm with improved paving, street lighting, soft landscaping, street furniture and public artwork such as feature lighting.
