Tamworth Castle and Stafford Castle are Grade I and Grade II listed, respectively.<\/p><p>The Almonry in Evesham was once home to the Almoner, one of the monks from the Benedictine Abbey that was founded at Evesham in the 8th Century.<\/p><p class=\"simplyweb-checked\">Following the closure of the Abbey by Henry VIII, the Almonry became the private home of the last Abbot, Philip Ballard, whilst the rest of the Abbey buildings were sold to Sir Philip Hoby who arranged for the quarrying of the stone.<\/p><p class=\"simplyweb-checked\">Today, the Almonry, two churches, bell tower, and cloister arch are all that remain of what was reportedly the third largest abbey in England.<\/p><p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Our consultants ensured that the historic elements of each site were respected, whether our consultants found specific issues within a castle, building, or exhibit within the museums &#8211; our task was to ensure that accessibility was made a priority without damage to the integrity of the sites, innovating ideas which would allow an increased amount of happier and assured disabled visitors.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-50 elementor-top-column elementor-element elementor-element-fc1fab0\" data-id=\"fc1fab0\" data-element_type=\"column\" data-e-type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-156f7c0 elementor-widget elementor-widget-image\" data-id=\"156f7c0\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"image.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" width=\"800\" height=\"498\" src=\"https:\/\/directaccessgp.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/AdobeStock_186117801-1024x638.jpeg\" class=\"attachment-large size-large wp-image-4397\" alt=\"A beautiful sunset reflects on the ancient Stafford Castle.
