#000000;\">Join us in congratulating our founder and director Steven Mifsud who was absolutely humbled and honoured to receive his MBE this week from the Duke of Cambridge at Windsor Castle for services to International Trade.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"MsoNormal simplyweb-checked\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The award recognises Steven\u2019s work with the UK\u2019s Department of International Trade to raise awareness of how small businesses and entrepreneurs can access government support to export. This may include grants to support trade show attendance, introduction to prospective buyers and information about import and export requirements. Steven has been twice in the Shaw Trust UK\u2019s top 100 most influential disabled people list and was his hometown Nantwich\u2019s Salt of the Earth award recipient in 2019 for services to the community. Steven and Direct Access were the UK Department of International Trade Northwest Export Champions for both 2020 and 2021.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"MsoNormal simplyweb-checked\"><span class=\"simplyweb-checked\" style=\"color: #000000; font-family: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-family ), Sans-serif; font-size: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-size ); font-weight: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-weight );\">Steven remarked, \u201cthank you to my amazing team at Direct Access Group, my right-hand man Steve Dering, and the incredible people at Department for International Trade Northwest.
