Portable FM
Hearing Loops
Products > Portable FM Loops
The T46 transmitter will broadcast a speaker’s voice on one of seventeen available channels, 72-76 MHz, to listeners using an R37, R37-8, or R38 receiver. The unit features an easy-to-read OLED screen, convenient menu control buttons, flexible mic and auxiliary inputs, push-button on/off/mute controls, channel lock and selectable compression. Lightweight and portable, the PPA T46 has a transmission range of up to 150 feet (46 m).
In the UK, induction loops are a requirement in public-facing environments under the Equality Act 2010. Under various other legislation, the requirement extends to the majority of European countries.
Statistics have even demonstrated that disabled consumers are much more likely to trust and respect brands and businesses that recognise, accept, and provide for their differences.
One-to-One Clarity in Multiple Settings
This simple-to-use portable loop system has been designed in collaboration with Ampetronic to offer deaf users the best possible auxiliary aid for students in the classroom, tour group participants, employee training groups, and business meeting attendants.
Portable loops are greatly welcomed by hard-of-hearing people. Some may feel self-conscious about their hearing loss, particularly if it is age-related, and prefer discreet operation that only a portable loop offers.
