Why get involved?
Your information is invaluable when we create accessible environments. Whether we are working on revitalising museums, shopping centres, restaurants, or schools, Direct Access welcomes any disabled person who wants to be part of the change in their community’s step towards accessibility.
Check out our consultation events list below to help us bring built environments up to best practice accessibility standards. Just fill in the form for a specified event, turn up, and our team will handle the rest.
At most events, refreshments will be available.
St. Matthew’s Community Hall, Stretford
Direct Access is recruiting D/deaf and disabled people to be involved in a consultation session covering accessibility improvements in Trafford’s Town Centres.
We are innovating ways to improve accessibility, but we want to hear from residents from the area about what needs to change.
So if you live in Altrincham, Sale, Stretford, and Urmston and want your opinion heard, please get in touch with us to get involved with our consultation!
Direct Access will happily reimburse travel costs as well as offer a small fee for your time.
If you would like to attend this event please e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org or phone 0845 056 4421.
New build or refurbishment, considering disabled access issues at the feasibility stage informs the design and can avoid delays in Planning and Building Regulations approval – as well as unforeseen costs.
Our team of Access Consultants like to consult with disabled individuals and organisations to ensure that every stage from inception to completion considers the opinions of disabled people that built environments must serve.
As a team largely comprised of disabled people, we pride ourselves on direct communication with disability organisations on the issues that matter.
