Expo City on the accessibility of the site for COP28 UAE. Managed by Expo City, the City will host the 2023 United Nations Climate Change Conference this November.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Direct Access provided a team of Access Consultants onsite\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-family: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-family ), Sans-serif; font-size: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-size );\">undertaking international accessibility standard benchmarking for best-in-class accessibility. Our Access Consultants delivered;<\/span><\/p><ul><li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Full design plan reviews for concept, schematic, and final design stages.<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Site-wide audits of existing facilities and fit-out processes of new facilities for standard compliance and opportunities to innovate.<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Provided a point of call for all accessibility queries from all departments.<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Advised international participants and other stakeholders on accessibility operations.<\/span><\/li><\/ul><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>Expo City Dubai is a purpose\u2013built, eco-friendly facility that was previously constructed to host the World Expo 2020 Dubai for a period of six months (for which Direct Access also managed accessibility).
